What is a national jamboree?
Our largest tent camp, the national jamboree, takes place every four years. Then 5,000 scouts from all over Germany meet on a campsite and build a tent city of Jurten and Kothen (black tents) together for ten days. Of course, large tent constructions, camp buildings, cross-country games and joint activities are not to be missed.
In the evening we´ll meet in the Jurte around a campfire, sing our songs, traditional and modern, tell stories and drink chai, a spiced hot tea. An unforgettable experience.
The BdP
#Team
The Bund der Pfadfinderinnen und Pfadfinder e.V. (BdP) belongs to the five large German scouting associations and is a member of the scouting world organizations. It reaches through its activities 30,000 children and young people.
Scouting in the BdP is a youth movement in the spirit of self-education and common values. Scouting helps young people to orient themselves in today's world and offers them freedom to try things out and gain valuable experience for their entire lives.
